When you make a conscious choice to be happy, no one can take it away from you because no one gave it to you: you gave it to yourself.

Well good morning you lovely lot!

I've been missing of late, I know you'll understand that when I say I've not been good. In fact recent events have lead me to having a Telecare alarm fitted so that I can wear the pendant when home alone and can summon help with the press of the button. Yes I've realised I'm not a superhero who can get out of any situation!

A little colouring has been done and I have began attempting another book folding design.

I enjoy the process of measuring and folding. It's a quiet task that requires focus. I can concentrate on it rather than the pain. I prefer this way than the pattern where you fold to lines.

So as always pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground to link up and to nose somewhat at desks around the world!

Okay back to the folding. Take care Zo xx

Oh Zo I'm so sorry to hear you've not been so good. Glad your crafting helps with the pain control. Really hoping the button doesn't have to be pressed too often and I'm sending you big healing hugs.....hope it helps.

Sounds like you are having a pretty rough time .... really admire how you just get on and manage your health condition and still create such beautiful art.

so sorry things have been hard lately! Hoping you are on the mend soon and that you don't have to summon help too often. At my age, that might be a good thing for me as well.

Im so glad you got the alarm system in for when Keagan goes...peace of mind for everybody. I'm so sorry that you've been so bad recently though, I really hope that things improve for you.
Do you know, I was always amazed at how many pens you had, but since I've started colouring in my two adult colouring books, I realise that I haven't got enough tones of green or blue! Or anything come to that...I may be putting some Copic pens on my Santa list ;-)

Sorry to hear you are in pain. I hope your condition also has it's ups, not just downs, but an alarm system sounds reassuring (though I hope it will prove as unnecessary as possible!) That book folding really looks interesting... I'm trying not to get into too many new projects and techniques, since I have so much on the go as it is... but books will be done one day in the far future :)
Happy woyww from Finland!

I am sure your family will be as reassured as you are, to have your alarm button, but I am sorry that you have been having such a hard time as to need it. As Jan says, it is very sensible though for when Keagan leaves home. Sending hugs, take care. xx Helen 2

I'm so sorry to hear you've not been so good Zoe but having a pendant sounds like a very good idea. Gives you and your family peace of mind.
Book folding is great isn't it. I love seeing the design appearing. We are doing at my craft club again tomorrow night...back by popular demand. Thanks for your visit earlier.

So sorry to hear you haven't been so well, though I had picked this up from Facebook. Hope you are feeling better now. The alarm is a good move - Keagan will be reassured too. Spotted your new glasses - they are lovely :) Have a good week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #37

I'm really sorry to hear you've not been well. I cannot begin to imagine what you must be feeling. As a nurse I know about the illnesses but it's difficult to realise the practical implications and you've made a safe decision to have an alarm fitted. I hope you won't need it.
Interesting to see how you measure and fold the book.
Thanks for visiting a few days ago. As you know, I take my time. Besides, we've been away too for a few days and the campsite doesn't have wifi.
Have a good week,
Lisca
