Is it me or have the weeks rolled into one somehow? I apologise for my absence here, the days have tripped me up. Seriously. How do they do that?! 

Anyway thought I'd pop in and share my desk, pop over to Julia's head desk to see what's going on. 

My desk has altered a bit so I thought I'd share. I'm still up to my neck in notebooks and colouring for the long order list I have for Bristol Rovers style ones I'm decorating for my fundraising.

I must make a special thank you to all of you who have been buying items from LLJ (and Jan herself of course!) or supporting me in other ways. It means a lot to me. If you don't know have a peek at my page to find out Zoe's fundraising

Okay my desk

Bit's and bobs plus my niece's card drying.

It's an easel card, she will be 13 so I've gone for an elegant grown up card. 

So the window side, all the pens are there as is my just-delivered-freshly-opened parcel containing the latest thelwell collection. It's all cartoon horses and my family love horses so I thought it would be perfect!

Now for some coffee, more colouring and having a peek at that cd. I will get back to you all this week I promise. I know I've been rubbish with that, but all this colouring is zapping my concentration.

Good morning desk dashers!

I'm here early today (well early for me) as my car has gone in for service. So I had to be up and about, thankfully my legs are working today. 

Hope you've popped over to Julia's WOYWW to link up or just to see what this is about. So my desk -

Pens! 

Yep I'm still working my way through my notebook order list, I hate leaving the pens out but it's easier when I need the same ones all the time. 

Now I'd like to shout out and thank the lovely Lunch Lady Jan, who has so far raised £55 for my fundraising. I can't thank Jan and all of you who have bought items enough for supporting me. 

Just raising awareness of the charity means so much but to raise some serious money that will help the charity continue to do their work really does mean an awful lot to me.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

As always many of us share our desks for WOYWW, following our leader Julia - over at The Stamping Ground.

My desk is in full on colouring mode as I work through my order list for Bristol Rovers style notebooks that I'm making to raise money for the charity I support. Details here -

So here is my desk - 

I've got my plates and alphabet die out to create the Bristol Rovers words plus a couple of other bits including mirri card, scraps of card used for doing Epiphany tool cuts. Oh the ink pad and coloured girl are for someone's birthday card I've yet to make!

The window side is full on colouring with my images and all the pens I'm using for all sorts of hair colours etc.

Each different and coloured to suit the recipient!

On a personal note, I'm still unwell, now 2 weeks in, I finally gave in and went to doctors end of last week. Got some tablets, but he said could be another couple of weeks before I recover from this virus fully. I'm better than I was, but finding just basic tasks tire me quickly. Thankfully colouring is relaxing and I enjoy taking my mind of things!

Well hello desk dashers (I like the alliteration you see) here we are again, baring our desks and enjoying each other's company. As always pop over to Julia's desk - Stamping Ground to find your way around.

My desk is very much colouring related. I've kicked off this year by launching my wish to fundraise in an attempt to do something special considering 2015 is the year I turn 40. If you would like to know more about this please have a look at this post -

Sorry for the self-promotion bit but I know not everyone follows me on FB, Twitter etc and I wanted to share.

Anyway desk - 

It's a mess but in a good way. This side has all the pens I'm using to colour the footy images plus other bits I'm also using to decorate the notebooks.

The window side is where it's happening. I'm slowly working through my ever growing order list for these footy related notebooks. I'm loving that I can personalise them by colouring the hair to suit etc.

Anyway may I wish you a Happy New Year if we haven't already crossed paths, I'm having a super quiet day (still in my PJ's) as I'm not feeling too well. Think I'm finally succumbing/fighting off the throat virus thing all of my family have had over the last month or so. Hoping a quiet day & fluids plus meds will be enough to stop it from developing full on. 

I will get round and say hi over the next few days.

Happy New Year - fundraising in 2015

Well happy Friday to you all. I do hope you all enjoyed your New Year's celebrations. I was tucked up in bed long before, well until Baxter woke up barking at the fireworks that is!

I decided long ago that 2015 was going to be the year that I try to fundraise and raise awareness for 

HMSA

The Hypermobility Syndromes Association is a charity that has supported people with disabilities and problems caused by any of the Hypermobility syndromes. As many of you know I have Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility (also known as Benign Joint Hypermobility syndrome) as well as Fibromyalgia and Scoliosis.

 Since my diagnosis I have used the charity to gain advice, they've sent me many booklets and leaflets to help me explain to friends and family about my problems, and also books for Keagan's schools to inform them of how Keagan needed to act to prevent him developing full on Hypermobility. He is hypermobile but as long as he keeps his joints strong he will lead a totally normal and crazy life of a Jump Jockey!

Anyway I've been in touch with the charity and have formalised my fundraising. I have set up a Virgin Money Giving page -

Now not only am I asking for any donations I am also going to sell my crafty makes during 2015 to raise funds. I've already taken orders for decorated notebooks done in the style of Bristol Rovers!!

My Rovers friends have gone mad for this and I have orders for 14 so far! I'm over the moon as I feel I'm giving something back to the charity who have helped me. Plus I get to colour every day and have a perfectly good reason to do so. 

Now here's where I ask a favour of you all. I was wondering if anyone would like to contribute to my fundraising by donating a crafty project for me to sell?

Christmas Eve WOYWW 290

Merry Christmas everyone!

Can't believe it's Christmas Eve, I love this time of year and, according to my son, I the biggest kid around!!

I've not been on here since mid November. But I'm okay! Just stuff going on. Anyway pop over to Julia's place to meet up with other desk dashers!

Not much on my desk apart from my Christmas nails that I will affix later tonight. I cheated bought fake ones and painted them before putting them on. I used bits of white tack to keep them in place while I painted them! 

Naturally they are blue and white - you wouldn't expect anything else from me, would you?!!!

Though I'd share my hair tinsel - pink and gold. My neighbour who is a beautician, has started to branch out into many other treatments and pretty additions like the tinsel & ear piercing!

It stays in for ages and copes with being washed and dried and styled. Just have to avoid tearing the knots out when brushing. It is knotting in with your own hair. 

Anyway will get round over the next few days. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!
