When you make a conscious choice to be happy, no one can take it away from you because no one gave it to you: you gave it to yourself.

WOYWW 214

Hello my fellow desk hoppers. I welcome you here, the kettle is always on and I have a chair ready for you to sit and have a chat if you wish!

A few things to show today and I've taken the photos while sat in my chair. One obvious addition to the right side desk, my fan, much needed, but other than that things are the same. Though there is an addition to the wall. My schedule for my Rovers articles is now up on the wall next to my Spectrum Noir certificate.

Looking out over the window side - lots of pens there and you get to see the bookcase that's next to me. That's why my desk is tidy, it's all rammed on the bookcase!

Close up of desk.

Baxter enjoying the cool air and cool floor!

Now a new addition. I was fed up with my dies being in a folder. Okay they were on magnetic sheets, but I found it a real pain getting them in and out so I came up with an idea. It didn't work to start, I didn't use strong enough adhesive, but I got there and now I have perfectly easy access to my dies. Fantastic considering I can now use them with ease with my Ebosser!!.

Yep I stuck the magnetic sheets to the back of the door. I've room for new dies now!!!

That's it from me, I thank you all for comments left before and new. They really help me and give me a much needed boost when I'm not so good. Will visit as many as I can as always.

Don't forget to pop over to Queen of all things desk/space-like, Julia's to join in.

Take care Zo xx

And when you run out of space on the one side of the door, Zoe, there's always the other side ready and waiting to be put to good use. I think that's a clever idea, as is the ebosser ... bet that makes for easy die-cutting too :) Thanks for popping by earlier. Hope you have a good day. Elizabeth x #57

Brilliant, genius idea Zoe. You could make me dangerous with a bit of glue now!! What are the green and brown 'pot' things on the shelf there - I cannot make that out! Take care my gal - no over doing it in the heat please.

You'll find me on the floor next to Baxter!! He looks well chilled out :-)
What a fab idea to stick your dies on the door..they are like works of art in their own right. I love the patterns they've made!!
Fingers crossed for the cricket, eh?
Hugs, LLJ 45 xx

My green brown pot things are Epiphany tools from Crafter's Companion. Punches that make epoxy embellishments with the little bubble caps. Don't worry lovely, I'm chilling in my craft room with the fan on. Won't sit out till later when it's not as hot. I'm baring flesh in a skirt & strapless top in order to stay cool too!! Zo xx

I love your idea for the dies - I might do something like that myself - for now I just keep them in the original packaging! Ah Baxter must be enjoying the cool floor!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian

Awesome idea with the die storage- however, as Doug put a brand new door on my room, he'd skin me alive if he even thought I was thinking about putting anything on it! Glad I'm doing a fair impression of knowing what I'm doing , lol.Haven't got a clue, most of time, rofl.Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz xx #51

Looks like you have a lot of finished books too!!! And Baxter has the right idea!! It is HOT here and you are usually similar to us. Spikey is on the floor more than his bed.
The dies on the back of the door is awesome!! I may have to try that!!

Well, Zo, I think you are an organizational wizard to come up with that genius idea of putting your magnetic sheets on the back of the door!! Seriously, genius! And thanks for sharing the pic of baby Baxter. I hope his puppy training is all going smoothly. He looks mellow in that photo! Happy Belated WOYWW and I wish you a wonderful week! Thanks for coming to see me at the Playhouse! Darnell #24

First, I'm a little jealous of the window right in front of your workdesk, what a treat to have that right where you're creating.

Second, I'm a big advocate of shoving it all on a shelf, so carry on, way to go!

And third, the door turned storage space = BRILLIANT!!!

Thank you for visiting me this woyww, Zoe!
