When you make a conscious choice to be happy, no one can take it away from you because no one gave it to you: you gave it to yourself.

Digi's on Fabric

Hello happy Digi Choosday - pop over to our blog to see the new challenge launch, pick up tips and ideas and see what products are being used!

I decided to finally do something I've wanted to do for ages and that is to decorate/embellish this bib. I took a number of digi images from the Bonbon Belles collection into Craft Artist and created this topper. I then printed it onto fabric transfer paper. Following the instructions I ironed it onto the bib. So simple to do but oh so effective. A great way to embellish a plain item. Am really pleased with it. May try printing a black/white image and colouring with my markers next!

I love these butterflies and the buttons and the bow! Lol

I'm entering this into the following challenges -

Hope this inspires you to try something different.

Pirate Paper Pieces.

It's Digi Choosday time, and there's a new challenge going on over there so I'd love for you to pop over to join in and to see our DT inspiration. The team work really hard each week trying to use lots of different digi's to inspire you all!

This week's theme was a challenge for me, but I knew I needed to make a male birthday card (for a Rovers fan so Pirate's are perfect!) for this week so I chose the fabulous papers & Pirate images from Bonbon Belles collection. I took all of the elements into CraftArtist to create my main design - layering the elements until happy to print. I then coloured the Pirate digi with my Graph It markers. I then took pieces of the coordinating paper to 'paper piece' the shells and the cuff of his coat. So easy but it does make such a different look I think!

I think this Pirate looks quite dapper!

A Pirate's Life for me!

Ahoy there mateys!

I'm back today to share my latest Polkadoodles DT project.  Why not pop over to the Polkadoodles blog and see what it's all about and how to join in?!

I decided to use the gorgeous Bonbon Belles Cd collection  The cd is packed with images and characters, so full of colour and easy to use with its coordinating collections. I took my chosen images into Serif Craftartist Pro and created a background using the papers, then I created a topper using some of the pre-coloured images and the Pirate Boy digi image which I left blank.

Once printed I coloured the Pirate Boy using a mix of markers and began layering the images. I added a die cut which I had inked between the topper and the background. To finish I added tickets, card candi and Glossy Accents.

I love that this collection is so versatile and can be used for many occasions and for male and female cards.
I look forward to seeing your creations!

Take care Zo xx

My 1st DT project for Polkadoodles.

Good morning - well there's a new challenge launching over at Polkadoodles and there's a super give away and an amazing prize if you win the challenge too. The theme is 2 different Fairies (or Angels), and I'm very proud to be sharing with you all my first DT project.

Those of you who have followed me for a while will know there are a few things I love - colouring and Smash books are amongst the top few so I decided to jump straight in with a double page in my craft Smash book.

To create this double page I used papers, embellishments and characters from the Bonbon Belles CD. One of the characters is pre-coloured and the other I coloured myself using a mix of markers.

Here's a close up of the pages -

This side shows the pre-coloured character, isn't she lush?!

This character I coloured myself. I love how all the papers and flowers work together. The sentiments are actually from Picknix CD - Welcome Home. You will find so many fab sentiment across the Polkadoodles CD's and they all easily work together.

I like to create layouts like this in my craft journal, it helps me get a feel for the products, but also gives me inspiration as I often look back through to see what I've created before.

Well I'd love to hear what you think of my 1st Polkadoodles DT project so tell me!!
