Morning desk hoppers and of course everyone else who passes by.
I know most of you have come here via Julia at The Stamping Ground but if not and you wonder why I'm showing my desk, head over there to see!
Today my desk sees the making of a gift -
You can probably guess what it will become - I plan on making a few of these to give this Christmas! Yep I did make the writing of that word smaller as not to frighten anyone.
The papers are from Prima and are called 'Welcome to Paris', since my trip there last November I'm instantly drawn to anything Parisian. The other day I saw a fab umbrella, clicked the link, thinking 'ooh I'd like to get that' only to discover it cost £55, yep Paris price tag too! Needless to say my purse isn't quite up to the Paris prices so had to decline purchasing said umbrella. Ah well.
I'm using pages from a chipboard album as my base, perfect size and the shape matches my template you can see. Other than that it's the usual scissors, glue and pokey tool on display. Oh that green thing top right is my epiphany tool, perfect punch and epoxy sticker creator. I wasn't in to them to start but now I am, I love that little tool!
Right best get on, I have a Bristol Rovers article to complete.
Take care Zo xx

Very, very nice paper Zo, I really must start my Christmas cards....... I like your blog header, is it new or have I just not noticed it before.......whatever, it is really lovely! Happy WOYWW, Anne x #82
Whoohoo...I'm here at last Zo, is the kettle on?
Thank you so much for writing that word in smaller font. As you know I'm desperately waiting for spring so that word just frightens me at the moment!
I loved Paris too and had a special time there...its a shame you didn't purchase the umbrella...but maybe Santa might be listening and if you've been a good girl he might bring you one? ;D

Great paper, but the C word, really? I just started fall/halloween this week. I guess it is best to have ahead start than to be scrambling at the last minute. Dani#16
It's definitely getting round to that time when we all start thinking about pressies isn't it. Your albums are going to be beautiful, especially with those classy ladies. Hope you are able to show us the finished results!!!

Hi Zo. I love what you are making and the papers you are using. Those little calendar gifts are the best!
I have one of those Epiphany tools, too, and seeing your post reminds me of that. I need to get it out and use it - forgot all about it!! Bad me.
Have a great week! Thanks for coming by to visit me already! Darnell #74
You know that I love Paris, and love the sound of that umbrella but like you...not the price tag!! lol. Why are all the good things in life just out of my price range?? Oh well, one day!!! *dreams* ;)

Look after yourself and take care.
Love and hugs, Emma xxx
Hi Zo
I always lose umbrellas so always buy cheap ones. Paris is certainly expensive. Looking forward to viewing finished item.

Love the paper and look forward to seeing the end result. Sadly not made it to Paris yet - did drive around it a long time ago ( well I was in a coach) Happy WOYWW Anne x#149
Lol, it gave me a fright, even though you did try to make it less scary . . .
Intriguing new goings on (gotta love that paper, yes), will surely be a well loved gift.
Happy WOYWW!

I've flown over Paris but never been. Was the umbrella made of gold to cost that much? Glad you made that 'word' small, don't want to think about it yet. Like the look of the gift, will check back to see how it turns out.
Have a great week.

Thank you for making the name of the holiday-that-shall-not-be-named really small so I wouldn't have heart palpitations. Am I right that you are making a mini book? That will be nice. Great paper!
Fun euro-theme! I wish I were ambitious enough to plan for christmas already. You'll be my inspiration!

A modern take on a traditional gift, what a great idea. This year I would like to make more Christmas gifts, this would make a fab stocking filler.
Dionne xx
Ugh...you said Christmas...small or not, I still heard it. I need to get busy and start working on whatever I'm making for my kids this year. Last year, it took me two solid months to make their presents, and it was right down to the wire. I didn't think I would finish in time.
I can't wait to see your finished calendars!!
