When you make a conscious choice to be happy, no one can take it away from you because no one gave it to you: you gave it to yourself.

Friday Smile 152 - Sharing triumphs

Well I'm back today to share my Friday smiles with Annie and her group here's what has made me smile this week -
Had to buy Baxter a new bed as his other fell apart though it did last 2 and a half years so it did well. Here's Baxter sound asleep curled up in his new bed which is behind the door in my craft room.
My Aunt bought me this fabulous Yankee candle jar for Christmas - Sunlight on Snow! It smells divine. I have it on the top of my bureau in my craft room.

Other than that it has been hearing from Keagan that has made me smile. He still has a few more weeks away from home. He graduates from The British Racing school on Feb 8th. He is really enjoying riding and though the work is hard he is literally living his dream.
This is a screenshot taken from a video. His instructors ride alongside the gallops as Keagan races up them. They film the ride on an iPad and let the students have a copy to share and send to their families. They start riding about 7.30am this was on a beautiful clear day as the sun was rising.

Take care Zo x

Hi Zo, Baxter has changed position since I last saw him in his new bed. The candle looks very pretty. That's a good idea to have a lovely smelly candle while you craft. Sounds idealic - smelly candle, sleeping cat for company, what more could a girl wish for!

A lovely photo of Keagan. You must be very proud. It's wonderful that he's living his dream. Enjoy your day. Barbxx

I'm thrilled that Baxter likes his new bed, because Squiggles won't go near his. He'd rather sleep on the couch in the office. Of course, Baxter is a smart dog and Squiggles is a drug addled cat!

You lucky gal. Those Yankee candles smell so wonderful.

Of course, I truly believe the BIGGEST laugh today is on ME. When I read from WOYWW that Keagan was at the British Racing School, I thought you meant AUTO racing, not HORSE racing. Yep, the last laugh today is on me. Congrats to your son, dear!

What a lovely photo of Keagan racing at dawn. I bet you are a very proud mum.
And Baxter's bed is great. I'm glad he limes it. Someti es dogs prefer the old broken, chewed up version.
Have a good week,
Blessings,
Lisca

It's wonderful that Keagan is living his dream and I wish him all the luck in the world. hope he comes up here to the Grand National for a winning ride one day. I'll get myself a big hat to cheer him on and you can stay with me as it's only 10 mins away to Aintree.
