Many many years ago I began sharing my crafty space with crafters from around the world when I discovered the fabulous WOYWW hosted by Julia every Wednesday. These days Sarah hosts over at Sarah Craft Shed
So I've dusted off my blog & decided to join in for this anniversary. Those of you who know me know my life changed so tragically 2.5 years ago on 4th Feb 2024 when I lost my wonderful son, my only child, Keagan in a horse racing fall accident. He was doing what he loved & was literally living his dream. Since that day crafting & colouring have definitely helped me find ways to cope.
I've looked for some photos to share of my time at the WOYWW crops. My favourite one was in 2015 when I celebrated my 40th birthday with everyone. Those there still remember my blue hair dyed ready for Wembley the following day when Keagan & I went to watch Bristol Rovers gain promotion!

It has been the hardest since since you lost Keagan, I’m glad that crafting, puzzles etc have helped you over the past two years. The braiding sounds really interesting, you’ll have to share some pictures so we can see. I love the photos of you with your blue hair, it makes me smile, I’m so very glad you came to those crops xx

Happy 900th WOYWW! I am so sorry to hear about Keagan. I am glad that crafting and being creative helps a little but I don't think anyone ever really gets over the loss of a child. Take care of yourself. With love & God Bless, Caro xx #19

Hello Zoe, lovely to see you here for the 900th WOYWW, though weve kept in touch through Facebook more recently. We've both been through a terrible loss, you with Keagan and me with Alan, in the last couple of years and somehow we've found our own ways to keep going. Goodmorning! It's so good to 'see' you! When I decided to join in for this anniversary post I thought: "there will be new participants, there will be ladies absent and I'll wonder where they went but I will recognize some old woyww-names for sure, and yes, here you are, I remember you but didn't know about your son - that's just heartbreaking, so sorry to hear that. I am looking for 'free/spare time' to visit blogposts all through the weekend so by the end of the week I hope to have visit all desks on the list - as an 'old woyww-participant' I just wanted to celebrate this 900th anniversary so badly and it's so lovely to 'bloghop' to all the wednesday-desks again. It's good to see all the creativity that is still going on, and visit long-time-no-see desks/ladies! Congrats to you too for the 900th woyww, keep up the good spirit and have a nice weekend. Lovely to see your blog, always think of you as gas head zoe after your blue hair at the crop! Keegan would be so proud of you and your achievements with everything you have done, he was a lovely lad kyla x
