When you make a conscious choice to be happy, no one can take it away from you because no one gave it to you: you gave it to yourself.

WOYWW 373 - oops I've missed a few!

Hello desk dashers & all my followers.

Well I have to say sorry - I've been a rubbish blogger these last few weeks. But I'm back today to join in with WOYWW over at The Stamping Ground - lovely to see Julia well on her way to recovery and getting stronger every day.

So my desk is colouring related - I've been receiving the monthly colouring lessons from Kit and Clowder but have just been saving them. But decided I need to start actually doing.

So the right side has all the pens out I need for my lesson. If you are eagled eyed you may spot some new purchases up in my spice rack!! (Can't spot them - distress crayons & whipped Spackle!)
Window side shows my on going progress. I will share it when finished! This is how I learn all of my colouring techniques. I put the practice in and take lessons. I watch the class video first then use the step-by-step instructions to guide me though. I do like to tweak things as I do have confidence in my colouring so sometimes do my own thing!

Thought I'd also share these pics. As you all know Keagan is living his dream working in horse racing. His supervisor took these photos the other day.
 In action cantering.
Love this photo. Shows the stunning scenary where Keagan is and such a fab pic of Keagan.
 More cantering.
More cantering and scenary!

To see my boy doing what he's always dreamed of makes me so proud.
Hope you enjoyed seeing these as much as I do.

Take care Zo xx

Lovely colouring! I never sat on the back of a horse, only fantasized about it as a child. Your son is lucky to live his dreams! Thanks for visiting earlier. zsuzsa #28

Hi Zoe, it is wonderful to see Keagan doing what he loves. What more can anyone really ask for? To get up every day, knowing you will love every moment is a great gift. Lovely to see your colouring again, I have bought a set of the Distress Crayons, the Neutrals, but not actually used them yet. Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #24 xxx

Lovely colouring going on and sooooo many colouring pens - wow, you must have every shade made! I've just treated myself to the new Distress Crayons and am really looking forward to them arriving and trying them out. You've got me on the Whipped Spackle! My sister lived in America for years and spackle is what she calls Polyfiller but I've never heard of it as a craft product - something I shall definitely be googling in a minute!!
Lovely pics of your son living his dream - what a lucky young man, and also lucky to have a supportive mum who I'm sure helped him achieve it!
Thanks for the visit earlier, I hope you have a lovely colour-filled week,

Happy WOYWW. Have you used the Distress Crayons yet? I am tempted by those. Thanks for the tip about the Fresco paints. I actually had a leaflet about them with my latest delivery today. Going to order a few to try. Ali x #26

Oooh look at all those gorgeous colours!! What a lot of pens you've got, and they look like a piece of art in themselves. I am fascinated to read about Keagan, and have just gone back through your blog and read some more about his exploits training to be a jockey. He looks just great on a horse, and you must be soooo proud of him! I think it's wonderful when someone knows from an early age what they want to do, and they pursue this dream until they achieve it.

Thank you for your visit and your fun comment - if I didn't put all my little bits and pieces in bowls I'd lose half of them! I have in the past, and eventually found a small but vital bit in the rubbish bin lol!! Putting things in bowls does keep them organised and safe.

Happy WOYWW,

Very nice coloring. I live in Kentucky and am very familiar with horse racing. Maybe I will see your son in the Kentucky Derby one day. :-)

Fabulous marker storage and collection! I love to take classes on everything, although sometimes find it hard to find the time to practice. So I applaud you for actually setting the time aside to practice. Blessings, LisaDV #35

Lovely to see a proud mum - and rightly so.
Would not have thought you needed lessons in colouring - I love how you colour your figures already.
