When you make a conscious choice to be happy, no one can take it away from you because no one gave it to you: you gave it to yourself.

WOYWW 237

Hello!

I'm finally here. Spent time on the phone complaining about my internet connection or rather, lack of. It keeps dropping out. My supplier has been bought out and since I was transferred I've had problems that I didn't before!!
Anyway while I'm connected I'm uploading my desk -

Piles of images to colour, pens, radio and the Snowman scrapbook that I've put together ready to add this year's Christmas photos. Huge bottle of glue and Ebosser present as always!

There isn't anything here apart from usual tools as I haven't done any crafting yet today.

The not-so-tidy area between desks -  you can see lots of stuff that I keep to hand.

So that's me, dash over the Stamping Ground to join in the the other desk dashers!!

On a personal note, those of you who know me will know this year has been a real struggle with my conditions, anyway I have recently been assessed by OT who have supplied me with various pieces of equipment to help and they are also referring me to be considered for a wet room which will make showering so much easier and safer for me! So that's good news.
I won't be about much now so I wish you all
Merry Christmas!
Take care Zo xx

Great to hear that OT have been of help...long may that last. Hope the equipment has made life a little easier for you - a wet room would be fantastic. Fingers crossed.

Zoe am so glad that the OT has been of help I had an assessment a few months ago and have now got my new wet room which I love it is so much better than trying to struggle to climb in and out of the bath to shower so I hope they sort it for you soon.
I had to go for a medical on Monday as the job centre said that they would not continue to pay my stamp after 4th January as they considered me fit for work which I strongly disagreed with and when we were half way through the medical I mentioned that I had previously had Bells Palsy the medical came to an abrupt end as the Nurse that was interviewing me said I must be seen by a Doctor not a nurse so now I have to wait again for a further appointment which will now probably be after Christmas. Keep telling them that no-one will employ me as I can not guarantee that I can get out of bed on any given day, but stupid government say that no benefits can be claimed as hubby works over 30 hours a week, what happened to my paying my own way since I was 16. Enough moaning and groaning, Keep safe and warm my dear and I wish you a fantastic Christmas and New Year. Lots of love Alison xxx

That's great news. I have a friend who has had a wet room installed and it's changed her husband's life; no help required, and that feels better on so many levels. Will be worth the wait gal. I like the spray tray! I think secretly you are the tidiest non OCD crafter I know!!
