When you make a conscious choice to be happy, no one can take it away from you because no one gave it to you: you gave it to yourself.

WOYWW 355 - What have I missed?

Hello desk dashers. I feel like I've not posted for an age. Well it has been a few weeks. I've been rubbish in health and at posting!

So I was determined to join in with everyone sharing desks over at Julia's Stamping Ground.

My desk is rather colourful. I've not done a lot of crafting but wanted to colour. I bought another new colouring book and decided to colour just for me. I'm using my Prismas. I've been scared to use them. Practicing with my SN pencils instead. But. Oh. My! Prismas are renown for being one fo the best and that they are.

I confess I took the desk shots yesterday before I started colouring. But took this as I coloured.

Can you spot the bit I've missed?!
Each colour is done with 3 pencils - dark, medium & light. To create the tones. These pencils blend so well. I'm a bold colour girl. But then you know that don't you?!
I don't start with a plan or anything I just choose my first colour and go.
This is what it looks like now. I've had to move it off my desk to allow Baxter to sit up there for a bit!!

Take care Zo xx

I am doing a very quick whistle stop tour of my fav blogs in my lunch break today. It's pretty manic returning the bungalow to a little nearer normality for when our Dutch friends arrive tomorrow so please forgive me that it is such a quick visit.
It's good to see you're feeling well enough to join in the fun today....love the colouring.
Hugs,

Sorry you've not been at your best health...I think it removes motivation doesn't it! Your solution, to colour is perfect, and as usual, love the colours!

The colouring looks great! I love my Prismacolour pencils. I just wish they made 'in between' sets as I bought a smaller set to begin, then a middle set (which included all of the first set) and the next set up with be a repeat of the middle set + extras. There seems to be no sets to make up for colours you don't have. Hope that makes sense! I could buy individually I suppose.

Anyway hope you are feeling better - sorry about the rant!

Have a great week

Happy WOYWW. Sorry to hear you have been struggling. Wonder if it is the time of year, as I have been too. Lots of people blamed the full moon! Colouring - I treated myself to some books and also got a free calendar with a magazine. I have been so busy with computer/Tarot stuff that I have hardly had a chance to get my pencils out. I am using a cheap set from W H Smith, which are surprisingly good. Ali x #63

Hi Zo,

Such nice coloring. The pencils are so vibrant. I think I did spot a place where should have been green. Funny how we see things in photographs that we don't with our eyes!

Happy belated WOYWW,
Hugs,
Kay (53)

So sorry I'm late in replying...I'm just getting in before tomorrow! Your colouring is extraordinary, the tones and shading you achieve are truly amazing. I enjoy colouring too but mine is much more pared down - I never seem to allow myself time to sit and colour, I always feel as if I should be doing something else. Crazy really....
I'm hoping that you're feeling a bit better this week, Zo - take care, lovely gal,
