WOYWW 572 - 11 years

WOYWW opened up a whole new world for me. And along the way I made lots of friends online. Many  of those online friends became friends in real life as we met at a number of the yearly crops over the years.

All of this was possible thanks to Julia over at The Stamping Ground
and here we are celebrating 11 years of desk sharing and friendship.

So here's my desk -

So there's my new mould to make resin letters and a practice Z I tried last night. That folder started out as a box for my new peacock solar wall art I had for my birthday. In true crafter style I knew it would make great sized folder to fit 12 x 12 pages. It's my UFO in theory - you see I've attempted this idea so many times with different boxes. But this is the first that I've got to work properly. I inserted the rings last night. Now to decorate it!
My basket of journals and planners. A tin of chalk paint ready for an upcycle project and in front of the basket is my April colouring class from Kit and Clowder. I've started it but the glorious weather has distracted me to go outside rather than stay in and colour!

I did reorganise my pens the other evening - changing the colour waves to run vertically instead of horizontally as I've had them for years.

I look forward to visiting you and saying hello over the next few days. Here's to many more happy desk sharing years ahead.

Take care Zoe

  3. Hi Zoe. Happy 11th anniversary. Good to see you today. You are right - this blog group has been such good friends to so many over the years. We have seen each other through some ups and downs, haven't we?! It's a great group of people - caring and supportive.
Your desk looks great - that is some mould for the letters! It looks enormous - how big is each letter? Great book made there - just think of the fun you will have placing your 12 x 12 pages in there once it is decorated. Well done.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

  5. Hello Zoe, what a desk you have - Amazing rack with your pens. Looks so lovely and I am not at all envy. Hehe. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of decoration you will do in the folder you made. Great job. It is good that you are able to get outside in the lovely weather. Here in Denmark, the weather is just getting warmer and the sun shines these days. Otherwise, I have been inside during the period of locking downtime. I hope I soon will be able to get outside and enjoy our nature.

Thank you so much for sharing!

    Happy WOYWW Anniversary

  6. Happy 11th Bloggyversary Zoe! I did enjoy seeing some old pics of you when I was compiling the video on my blog today. Your 40th birthday really sticks out, I remember the lovely card that Shaz Silverwolf did for us all to sign! I think you've done a great job rearranging all your pens, it makes more sense to my brain! And the album is going to be fab, I hope you have fun working on it.

  9. Don't those colours look pretty all together with their families, so much easier to use displayed in this way. Have fun creating and decorating the folder, please share with us when you have completed it.

  11. Happy 11th Anniversary, Zoe. It's been forever since I visited you. I like how you created that folder from a box AND it was successful. I don't own any of those pens, so vertical versus horizontal seems to make sense to you. Great way to reorganize, though. Happy WOYWW from # 6.

  16. Such a great idea to make a folder out of a box, I used packaging from linen (bed) sheets for it once and it turned out lovely! I like how you arranged your colour-pens, never thought of the vertical way but then again... I don't have much coloued markers (I mostly use black and white in my art journals - and paint to colour) Happy anniversary dear one, stay safe! Big hug from Holland. Marit #32

  17. Great to see you Zoe! Those pens, the colour waves are even more fab on the vertical, what a nice idea! I agree about the weather, make the most, all UFOs and intended will wait a bit longer!! Lovely words about WOYWW, thanks...but you musket remember that without everyone contributing, nothing would have happened!
