Woohoo Happy 5th WOYWW Anniversary everyone, special thanks has to go to our Queen of all desk and all-round lovely lady, Julia, for coming up with this and for bringing us all together!
I joined in this wonderful weekly desk dash just over three years ago. I've missed weeks here and there, but through taking part I have met some fabulous friends. Many who I have now met and consider friends in real life as well as online. I have attended all three of WOYWW crops - living about an hour and a half away (cos of traffic not distance) it is easy for me to get there. I admire all of the efforts made by the lovely people who travel from all parts to attend!

Anyway here's my desk today -
Right side - lots of pens that need putting away.
Window side - Boxes. I want to make some paper storage so I've been collecting the various boxes ready to cover. You can spot my swap ATC's in the corner. One for Sam (Hettie crafts) as I ran out on Saturday and the other for today's swap person!
Smash books and boxes.
Mess! Thought I'd show you all I can make a mess when I put my mind to it!!
Saturday was fantastic - seeing friends I've already made and meeting those who I hadn't. I finally met Nicky (Minxy) we've known each other online for ages but this was the first time we'd met. It was fab to meet all of the new folk who came along and of course see everyone else who I'd met along the way!
I didn't take many photos on Saturday as was too busy chatting and eating cake. I did do some colouring and also did a little colouring tutorial for those interested.
I saved this picture that was taken of me doing some colouring. Can't remember who took it but it was probably LLJ or her talented hubby who took lots of wonderful photos on the day.
I did take this fab pic of Julia, Queen of all desks. Julia was mid welcoming speech!
There are many photos around so I suggest you have a peek at those who took proper photos. For me, it was lovely to meet some of my online friends that I had not met before. And of course, see my friends I have already met through WOYWW. Pop over and join in and have fun!
Take care Zo xx

I wish I could have come to the crop again this year. It would have been great to see you again. I love that your idea of mess is pretty much my idea of fairly tidy. It takes all sorts and WOYWW is constant proof of that.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,
Rachel #49
It really was great to meet you on Saturday - I thought we would have loads of time to chat but the day whizzed by so quickly! I have never seen such amazing colouring! I also wanted to say Thankyou for following me and totally forgot -I'm on your list now so I won't miss anything!! Huge hugs, Chrisx 61
ReplyDeleteWe've met many times now, Zoe and it's always a pleasure. Glad to see you can sometimes craft messy! I'll have to get you working with paint one time.... Helen 7
ReplyDeleteIt certainly sounds as though you all had a brilliant time. Have admired your colouring skills in the past on your blog. Happy 5th Anniversary. Anne x #36
ReplyDeleteLoving all the photos and that one is a really nice one of you. Sadly I never got it together to take any, I think my camera phone was too embarrassed to come out with all those fancy cameras around!! It was a great day, but over too quickly. Hope your swollen ankles are getting better. Hope you had a great anniversary, Cindy #5
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time to share with your blogging friends in person. It sounds like you had a great time! I am not playing WOYWW today although I am out visiting some of my favorite bloggers anyway! So glad I stopped by and I will be back next week to join in on all the fun! Big hugs, Rasz!
ReplyDeleteARRGGH! I've been trying for an HOUR to get to your blog! I just had to comment how much I love your colouring in on the ATC - and am still in total shock that you feel you should take a class rather than teach one! But I'll look forward to seeing how your work develops. Lovely to see you even if we didn't get a ton of time to chat.
ReplyDeleteGot totally ambushed yesterday so late to the party. I hope this shows up...
Happy 5 year WOYWW!

Hi Zo! Happy 5th WOYWW! Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm sorry I'm so slow in getting around but better late than never eh? Can you ping your address off to me via FB please? We have some ATCs to post! Thanks
ReplyDeleteHello sweetie
ReplyDeleteLovely of you to drop by my blog last week and leave a comment. I only visited the 1st cpl people then never went round any more desks as I was feeling ill... i've explained on this weeks post why.
Looks/sounds like you had a wonderful day on Saturday - good on you for getting there. I wanted to, but didn't think I could manage the round trip on my own - despite now being up for the actual visit. Anyway, defo next time.
Just want to add how fabulous your colouring is - you rock at it... seriously!!!
Take care my love - and if your desk is messy - then mines the local dump... (mind you - it's not far off lol)...
Big hugs
