The Big WOYWW anniversary! Number 260

Woohoo Happy 5th WOYWW Anniversary everyone, special thanks has to go to our Queen of all desk and all-round lovely lady, Julia, for coming up with this and for bringing us all together!

I joined in this wonderful weekly desk dash just over three years ago. I've missed weeks here and there, but through taking part I have met some fabulous friends. Many who I have now met and consider friends in real life as well as online. I have attended all three of WOYWW crops - living about an hour and a half away (cos of traffic not distance) it is easy for me to get there. I admire all of the efforts made by the lovely people who travel from all parts to attend!

Anyway here's my desk today -
Right side - lots of pens that need putting away.

Window side - Boxes. I want to make some paper storage so I've been collecting the various boxes ready to cover. You can spot my swap ATC's in the corner. One for Sam (Hettie crafts) as I ran out on Saturday and the other for today's swap person!

Smash books and boxes.

Mess! Thought I'd show you all I can make a mess when I put my mind to it!!

Saturday was fantastic - seeing friends I've already made and meeting those who I hadn't. I finally met Nicky (Minxy) we've known each other online for ages but this was the first time we'd met. It was fab to meet all of the new folk who came along and of course see everyone else who I'd met along the way!

I didn't take many photos on Saturday as was too busy chatting and eating cake. I did do some colouring and also did a little colouring tutorial for those interested.

I saved this picture that was taken of me doing some colouring. Can't remember who took it but it was probably LLJ or her talented hubby who took lots of wonderful photos on the day.

I did take this fab pic of Julia, Queen of all desks. Julia was mid welcoming speech!

There are many photos around so I suggest you have a peek at those who took proper photos. For me, it was lovely to meet some of my online friends that I had not met before. And of course, see my friends I have already met through WOYWW. Pop over and join in and have fun!

Sailing!

SO it's Digi Choosday time again and as always I'm here to share my DT make with you all.

I really enjoyed creating this gorgeous scene from Cherry Blossom collection  and also the  Noah digi  . I used Craft Artist to place the digi image into the scene before printing it out. As the sail was plain I used a pencil to draw the stripes and then coloured the Noah image with my Graph It markers. I added the sentiment and candi to finish it off.

I like creating these toppers - makes posting easier, but it's a pain if you mess up the colouring!! I always print 2 just in case.

WOYWW 259

Eeeeek I'm so excited to be seeing many of you again on Saturday. Plus after the week I'm having getting out of this house and away from my town for a day will be a huge relief and treat. I shall be using my wheelchair to ease the impact on me from driving and it will be more comfortable for me to sit in also. So I shall rely on many of your good nature and kindness to push me about!! No wheelies!! Lol

Desk -
All the normal goings-on here

Beautiful sunshine on the window side, am deliberately covering the colouring cos I'm working on something for Saturday.

Baxter having his breakfast. The poor thing has been shut in my craft room with me as we are having major work done in the house this week. The bathroom is being ripped out and a wet room put in. Plus we are having a new boiler fitted so there are carpets and floorboards up everywhere!

Here's the bathroom before -
And here it is all ripped out -

Will post a pic once it's all finished for you guys to see. No doubt I'll dedicate a whole post to it!

Right am waiting for the men to arrive, despite resting I'm finding the noise and upheaval to be very tiring and I've been in a lot of pain from having to keep going up to my parents to use their bathroom. (Thankfully they live very near, our gardens meet so we have a walk through)

Pop over to The Stamping Ground to join in, find out about Saturday and the anniversary.
See you there if you are going!!

Days out!

It's Tuesday so that means there's another challenge launching over at Digi Choosday!

So naturally I'm here to share my DT make with you all - this challenge allowed me once again to tick off a task on my to-do-list!!

I have a small journal/Smash book that I have started to fill with photos and memories from days out and holidays, but I had not done anything to the cover. So I found used this girl digi from Candy Doodles to use as we often spend time out just chilling! I covered the front with strips of washi tape and ribbon before adding the image, embellies and charms.

I chose colours that worked with the main image. I matted the coloured image onto some glorious sunshine yellow card.

I love my charms but often forget to use them - these two are perfect. A suitcase and a camera!!

Citrus anyone?

Happy Friday! It's time to launch another challenge over at Graph It colouring challenge and I'm here to share my DT make. Pop over, say Hi, join in, become a follower and enjoy!

I do love being challenged with my colouring, and sometimes a theme makes me realise that while I have a good number of Graph Its I don't have a full collection. Good enough excuse to buy more?!! Oranges and Lemons/Yellows aren't my thing. I do have some yellows but found I only have one orange. But worry not - I used my warm browns to add the tones and shadows!

So the image is from Candy Doodles Collection from Polkadoodles. I layered the image on a mix of orange and yellow card, I cut around the image to create a different shape and then I added a couple of brads, sentiment and some washi tape.
The Graph It's I used are -
Skin = 4120, 4115, 4155, 3120 & 4135
Hair = 3120, 3125, 3150, 3170 & 3190
Jeans = 9100, 9102, 9103, 9105 & 7180
Yellows = 1130, 1150 & 2120
Oranges = 1250, 2170, 3130 & 3170
Background = Neutral greys

Here's some close ups -

Isn't she lovely? Perfect for any age group I think.

WOYWW 258 - My birthday edition!

Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me!

Yep it's my 39th birthday today, so I wanted to share it with you all. I wonder what this last year of my thirties will bring?!

I've already been out for cake and coffee with my mum - we went to Farrington Farm Shop which is 5 mins drive away. I had this gorgeous piece of White Chocolate and Mars Bar cheesecake to go with my coffee!
It was very yummy. Though not a patch on the cakes that LLJ etc make at the crop I must add!!

Okay desk Zoe -

So right side - there are more pens as I've added to my Graph It collection and there's images awaiting colouring.

Window side - More colouring and some Tesco's receipts - me and mum do our shopping together and use that scan gadget thing as we go. SO I have to add up our shopping at home to make sure how much our shopping actually was. Usually ends up with me owing mum!!

Here's me - I thought I'd do a birthday selfie!!

Can't wait to see you all at the Crop, and don't forget to pop over to Julia's WOYWW post to join in today and find out more about the crop etc.

Digi's on Fabric

Hello happy Digi Choosday - pop over to our blog to see the new challenge launch, pick up tips and ideas and see what products are being used!

 I decided to finally do something I've wanted to do for ages and that is to decorate/embellish this bib. I took a number of digi images from the Bonbon Belles collection into Craft Artist and created this topper. I then printed it onto fabric transfer paper. Following the instructions I ironed it onto the bib. So simple to do but oh so effective. A great way to embellish a plain item. Am really pleased with it. May try printing a black/white image and colouring with my markers next!

I love these butterflies and the buttons and the bow! Lol

I'm entering this into the following challenges -

Hope this inspires you to try something different.

Blue and White!

Good morning, it's Monday and it's my turn to choose the theme over at Crafty Boots Challenges and I chose -

Blue and White

In honour of my beloved Bristol Rovers. I'm absolutely devastated that we were relegated out of the football league recently. But we will come back stronger I just know it and me and my boy will be there supporting as always.

Right, my project is the cover of my blue Smash book. This book will be about me. I chose this Saturated Canary image as she has a studious look and papers flying that reminds me of me and my family history research!

I coloured her with my Graph It markers and added Glossy accents to her glasses. Complimenting papers and some washi tape finished the cover.

There you go!

Hope you will enjoy joining in with us.
Take care Zo xx

Celebrating Pink

It's time to share my Graph It Markers DT make with you all. Pop over to the main page to see all the details and inspiration!

I coloured up the 'Boobie Love' Saturated Canary image - I wanted to make a page in my Smash book for personal reasons and it suited what I wanted to achieve. I also used my Graph It's to help colour coordinate my mats and layers. My pink card wasn't quite the right shade, so I just went over it with pen. I added a few die cuts to embellish including the hearts from Doobadoo which I coloured black. A strip of washi tape and a sentiment finished it all off for now. I will be adding a few bits to it at a later day.
Graph It's I used are -
Skin = 4115, 4120, 4135, 4155 + 9404
Hair = 2105, 3110, 3125 + 3140
Pink = 5210, 5130 + 5255
Green = 8220 + 8260
Neutral Greys (Trousers) = 9500, 9501 + 9502
Green Greys (background dots) = 9201, 9203 + 9205

Hope you enjoy our challenges, don't forget our Facebook group where the DT pop in and out regularly so feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Party!

It's Digi Choosday time once again, these Tuesday soon come round don't they? So don't forget to keep up with us on the blog on and on our facebook group too.

So this week I used 2 digi's from the Bonbon Belles collection. I used the banner and a butterfly to create this name banner. I coloured them both using my Graph It markers and also added the silver glitter shake pens to bring out details. Perfect for any party!!

So there you go! Just shows you can use digi's in so many ways.
