WOYWW 252

Morni......okay it's actually afternoon now. I had a lie in so only just in the craft room. I have been missing of late, not been good so only doing what was needed rather than what I wanted to do. I did make it to footy the other day though had to leave before the end as I wasn't feeling too well and missed the winning goal! Me and Keagan celebrated in the car (we were at traffic lights) much to the amusement of a man sat in his parked car!!

Anyway I'm here, so pop over to Julia's desk to join in, link up or just desk dash!

I recently bought some Neena Desert Storm (Kraft) card from Crafter's Companion which they brought out to use with markers. I decided to colour the same image with the same colours to see the different effect of colouring on white v kraft.

Desk - right side, usual suspects

Window side with my colouring experiment still going on.
And a close up of my colouring so far.
Amazing the difference despite I have used identical colours and have coloured it as close to identical as possible!

So that's me, I've got coffee and food. So today I'm going to finish the colouring and then I'll try get round some of you when I can. I'm okay though, just restless with pain and having to only spend short spells doing anything.

Take care Zo xx

  3. Ah mate, you've had a tough old time recently, haven't you? Sorry to hear that you've not been well. You gotta rest up and get better so's you can come to the crop!! That's an order - it wouldn't be the same without you!!!
It's amazing the difference a background can make...the colours look completely different!

  6. Aw Zoe, so glad to see you here, and so glad you're listening to your bod and doing in between resting...the restlessness caused by pain must be hard to deal with, you're incredibly patient. I hope the colouring helps when you're able to sit still -at least as a distraction. I love the differences that the Kraft card causes, like getting as lightly grungy set of pens! As usual, fantastically coloured..

  11. Listen up you need to look after yourself and take it easy. Your colouring is really brilliant but I am not a fan of the craft card for cards or colouring full stop. I much prefer the cleaner and crisper look. Either way your colouring is astounding,. Lots of hugs coming your way from Yoda and I.

  16. I would have loved to see the face of the chap in the car!! Such a shame the body is fighting back....sometimes you just have to listen, no matter how hard it seems.

Cannot believe the colours are the same, they really do make a difference.
    Love and hugs to Baxter
