WOYWW 234

Afternoon. I was missing last week, all okay just needed to step back from the world a bit and do what needed to be done. Rest. Spot of craft. Rest. You get the idea.

So my desk -

Right side - Pens, with lots of space after I took the plunge and sold my Spectrum Noirs. I love my Copics and use them the most so by selling I was able to buy more Sketch markers.

Window side - my Project 2013 smash book at the back and some colouring going on at the front.

This double page covers last week, yes a whole page dedicated to Dr Who. It's not finished yet I want to journal some more.

Now these amazing resin Dr Who characters were sent to me by the lovely talented Kyla (Li'l Pidge) They are perfect for me to embellish my page I have coloured K-9 & the Dalek but the Tardis Kyla coloured to perfection for me! Thanks again Lovely!

This little chap will probably find his way onto Keagan's Christmas card!

Edit: 15.20 had to share this photo I have just taken. Baxter often sits on my lap while I craft, he lies out and snoozes but today he decided to climb onto my desk to look out of the window!

Hmm not sure I will allow this often!

As to Christmas cards, well I cheat I'm afraid, I buy some Charity cards and only make for close family, friends and crafty peeps! The rest get a bought one. I send nearing 100 and I just can't make them all anymore.

Right, I'm going to rest up but I will be back over the next few days to have a look at your desks.
Take care Zo xx

  1. Such a crafty desk today! Your smashbook is just wonderful! I have not tried the Spectrum pens and love to see when others do. I may have to pick some up as the price point here is better than copic for my wallet. That little guy is turning out great too! i tried to make cards over the years for all my family and friends and I just never can so I keep it to close family and friends and do what you do and get a box of cards to benefit charity. Win win situation for a lot of people I say. Winnie#74

  4. Woo hoo! how tidy is that desk? You've got sense over making C cards.... that's the best way to go. Baxter has settled in so well and is taking over ... he'll be stamping his pads next!

  6. 100?I I thought I was "bad" sending about 60... not surprised you can't make that many... Love the picture of Baxter, but as you say, don't let him get used to it up there, you'll get nothing done! (BTW I am staying with Emma. and Sam and Lin are coming too...) we'll tweet probably!

  7. So pleased you liked my Dr Who resin embelishments. I don't blame you with the cards, I make a select few then others get shop bought....its busy enough at this time of year as it is!

  8. Happy WOYWW. I am going to sell my Speccies too. For a different reason though - I am not doing any colouring any more. My craft room is upstairs and our dogs are not allowed beyond the kitchen, so only the cat sits in my window! Ali x. #49

  9. Zoe hope you start to pick up again soon know what it feels like when you just have to give in to your body and let everything go. Baxter looks as though he wants to help. I am not sending as many cards this year as I usually do as its just too expensive nowadays. Love Alison xxx

  10. Aw, that's great edit to include the photo of Baxter, Zo! But, dear me, that's definitely a no-no if there is coloring that he is sitting on! I can hear you saying, "Pardon me, Bax, allow me to remove my papers first!" Great post and great Dr. Who pages! Thank you for the visit to me! Happy WOYWW and have a great week! Hugs, Darnell #17

  11. So Zoe, are the Coptic better than the spectrum noir's then I don't seem to get on with the co pics and prefer the pro markers ... Strange isn't it they all do the same thing.
It seems Baxter wants to join in I wander which pens he will prefer
    Enjoy the rest

  12. I enjoyed peeking at your craft space! I love how you have your markers set up. I Have the S.N markers, the whole set and I like them, it does seem they go dry fast. so now I am looking at purchasing the refills. I like the copics too and have considered doing what you did, sell one to buy the other!! Thank you for Sharing and have a wonderful week!! Ginny #19
