WOYWW 198 - a gatecrasher!

Good morning everyone!

Well it's Wednesday so that means we should all be checking in with our Queen of All desks, Julia to share our desk/floor/space.

As many of you know by now I tidy, always have, once I finish I tidy things away except the few tools that stay on my desk which means most mornings my desk is bare, boring and well who wants that, so last night I took pictures to share with you as I thought you'd enjoy seeing them far more than the plain boring desk this morning! -

So I start by showing the gatecrasher! Yep Keagan needed to use the laptop for homework so I moved over to my desk and he got to work he even made the cups of tea!

The next 2 pics show my work in action, colouring, using my Ottlite for, well, light and you'll see I do not tidy as I go when colouring all the pens are on the desk that I'm using.

You'll see some photos on the orange card these are drying and are photos for Keagan's baby Smash book, yep nearly 15 yrs later I start it!! Ha ha.

Those beady eyed of you will notice 2 additions to my Smash book collection - another lighter blue Retro book I had for Christmas and the darker blue 1 which is one of the new CHA 2012 collection, more to follow soon!

The right hand side radio still there, some more photos waiting to be placed and matted and an empty Mango packet!

That's it for me, thought you'd enjoy a wider view this week considering I've missed a few Weds over the last few weeks!

Take care Zo xx

PS Do you like the new photo of me and Keagan in my blog header? It was taken at footy the other day!!

  7. It's good to have gatecrashers that make tea for you. Look in hindsight homework is important and worth it. Good to see you spread out when crafting.

  10. If the gatecrasher makes the tea then it's all good I say, Zoe. Love the new photo btw.
I see you are engrossed in colouring there, isn't it funny how some people can loose themselves in colouring and others love messy inks and stuff. We seem to fall into two definite crafty groups. I'm the messy one if you were wondering

  14. I like to have a tidy space at the start of a project too, and I can't leave anything out or my furry resident would wreck it. I love that colouring area with all those pens so organised. I have a full set of copic markers and it always amazes me how many I use on each project, but they do get sorted away in numerical order at the end! It takes all sorts doesn't it/ Kate x #57

  17. I noticed your new header right away -- nice job and nice picture! Sometimes I find I get more done in my space when I have a little gate crasher of my own -- I do less mindless clicking on the computer and more creating at the table. Lovely coloring as always. Happy WOYWW from Laura #115

  18. Tea making gatecrashers would always be welcome.
Great photos of your work in progress.
    I like tidy!
Brill photo of you both at the footie. It's a real eye opener when they get taller than you! I hated it. My youngest just passed me last year - she grew and I shrunk by 1.5 inches. Boo hoo
No WOYWW for me this week as babysitting.

  19. Great header photo of you both- bit sad when they get bigger than you isn't it. My youngest grew 3 inches and I shrunk by 1.5! Now they all tower over me. Boo hoo
Any gatecrasher that makes the tea is always welcome ;-)

What a lovely photo of you and your son! I don't have an ottlite; I can how great they are in this photo though. Like a little ray of sunshine right on your desk!

  27. Nice to see some "in action" photos there Zo though I usually try to use your desk as a "how it should be" type inspiration!! I am pretty good though and clean stuff before I leave it, only leaving stuff out if I haven't finished the project. My worst problem is, typical Gemini, I like to have several projects on the go at the same time!! Hence lace, painting and several mini albums!! Tee Hee.
