Hello!
I'm a bit blurry eyed this morning, we went to football last night so didn't get home until late, well late for me so am super tired, but I shall be going back to bed once Keagan leaves for school! Lazy......maybe, but I know if I don't I won't work properly later. Arms and legs will just stop working!
Anyway today's the day when you are encouraged to pop over the Desk-mistress Julia's to share your space, no matter where it is or what it looks like, so here's mine this murky dark foggy morning, hence the flash -
Okay so the left side just as I left it minutes before leaving for football yesterday. My new colouring pencils are on show and I was thrilled to receive my blender & burnishing pencils yesterday but they arrived not long before I had to leave so I only had a quick play. On the window sill is my Project 2013 Smash book, with the last 2 weeks pages open, I've added pics from last week so they were drying. And yes that is a loo roll inner perched there - it fell of the shelf and I hadn't noticed to pick it up again! Going to make one of those albums with about 5/6 of them.
So the right side - the laptop is gone, all mended and ready for use at mum's. The pink and white thing bottom right of pic is my new silver bug sewing machine, only little but good enough for stitch detail on cards and taking up trousers! Usual things on display otherwise.
Right that's me done, I'm going to kick up the backside encourage Keagan to get a move on as he's feeling as dopey and tired as me this morning!
Take care and see you all later when I'm more awake.
Zo xx
Shame about the result last night though! Hope you get some rest and back to play later - love that tin of pencils!! Helen, 5

Funny, I loved pencils till DS got ahold of them and dulled them all...and then I found Copics. But there is nothing quite like the softness of pencils, esp. when blended with a stump. I think I have one of those machines...

Thanks for sharing your neat deskspace. Cute stamps to colour in with your gorgeous new pencils. Hope you're feeling better since your rest. Happy WOYWW, Angela xx
ReplyDeleteHope you've had a good rest by now, Zo. Those pencils look like the colouring bees knees.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment ... most of the sketches I'm using at the moment I've found on shimmel.com - she has made a series of videos with them and if you scroll down to the bottom of her website there's a link - Scrapbooking Sketches. It took me a wee while to see the advantage of working from a sketch but now I'm hooked :)

Look at all that rainbow-iness of those colours? No wonder your colouring is so awesome, you must have every tone under the sun ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd wahoo, you've got a sewing machine, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh h yeah! It starts off with hemming trousers...before you know it you'll be whizzing up your own quilts and tote bags. The wonderful world of fabric beckons :)
Hugs, LLJ 38 xxxx
Lovely tin of pencils there...they look fab. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x #65
ReplyDeleteYour crafting space looks sooo organised. I've lost my colouring pencils to my son, he borrowed them a few weeks ago and never returned them. I can see he uses them so it seems mean to demand them back! Those bug sewing machines are gorgeous, aren't they? Even though I have 2 sewing machines I'd love one of those too - just to look at really! XX
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a nice nap in today and feel better, don't want you being unable to craft! Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥
ReplyDeleteLovely organised desk. Hope you have rested and feel ok. I had a very busy day out yesterday and have suffered as a result today ( have FM as well as other issues) Lovely pencils have fun playing. Anne x #99
