Hello Wednesday and hello everyone!
Of course these days Wednesdays mean desks, and desks mean nosing and all of that can be blamed on the lovely Julia over at The Stamping Ground for coming up with this worldwide desk dash. If you've not joined in I suggest you take a look and have a go, but be warned it takes over your life to the point where you actually want to go and meet some of these WOYWW-ers. It happened to me, but I'd happily go and meet them all again.........hang on, am sure Julia mentioned something along those lines for this year!
Right my desk, it's an eclectic mix this week -
There's my new Address book that I'm writing addresses in a few at a time, a couple of photos awaiting trimming & inserting in my new project (pop back Friday for an introduction to my new project!) Some Odd Girls stamps, all in a pile because I'm always stamping and colouring, plus other stamps at back I won. Then at the front is a pack of canvas paper and a pack of keyring type chain things (plan on actually making something bead-related this year!) I picked up yesterday while in Bath, for my hospital appointment.
So there you go, no actual projects on the go, but that's okay. Today has to be a writing day for me as another deadline is looming for my Bristol Rovers articles so I have to get my 'football brain' in gear and try to ignore those fab stamps and keep my 'colouring brain' for after I've written my 850 word article!
Enjoy whatever you do today, tomorrow or whenever pop by, you are all very welcome!
Take care Zo xx
At least you know you've got a lovely reward to look forward to after all your journalistic efforts!! I love colouring in too but don't make the time to sit down and do it, there's always something else to be done....
ReplyDeleteI could make you some beady things for your stall as well, if you d like some. I've got loads of beads stashed away :)
Hugs, LLJ 38 xxxx
Happy WOYWW. Lovely busy desk. I showed a piccie of my tidy techy section this week - the other part is messy as usual. Ali x #40
ReplyDeleteHave a 'wordy' day, Zo, then you can get back to colouring!! Helen 7
ReplyDeleteOh my Zoe, you are so organized. And not that it's not a pleasure anyway, but we're working on the same logic..do the 'job' stuff first then reward yourself with a play..no doubt you can switch into football mode very deftly. Getting into beading huh, another slippery slope. ASk Jan!!
ReplyDeleteYou must be so knowledgable about footy to write articles and I often hear the radio programmes about our local teams and when people phone in they are so "on the ball" (sorry for the pun). Do you ever do this too?
ReplyDeleteThat desk has great promise with all those new stamps etc.
Lots of love and look forward to the next meet up!

Love the address book! I did the same thing last year and I swear it's still not up to date! Cx
ReplyDeleteYour stamps are fab. We have no actual crafting going on at the moment, just lots of ideas. One day we'll act on them!!
ReplyDeleteThe bears @#83 this week

Thanks for sharing so many nice products with us - enjoy your week and I hope you get lots of crafting done.
ReplyDeleteGawd! I so need to sort out my address book (written and online!) but I totally dread it so am putting it off. I bought a new book about 5 years back and still have not added even a single address to it. DOH!
ReplyDeleteHave a good one

ReplyDeleteZo brilliant desk not like mine which is empty of any crafting at the moment as I have been making soap instead today and I tidy my crafting area up after me each time I have finished a card hence it being empty. Love Alison xxx
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the articles and enjoy the reward of some crafty time later.

Hi
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time at WOYWW and I hope you don't mind me looking around your blog while I am here.
Ria
I want you to know, I am only 5'5". So I stood there, holding my camera way over my head and just snapped, not knowing how the shot would turn out! Too funny. But on to your desk--seeing your address book there made me giggle, because I plan to write down all my addresses and numbers in a book this year, because I do not completely trust technology! I've become way too reliant on my cell phone contact list. The other thing is, I too want to make more things with beads! I always look in the bead aisle at the craft store with longing. Happy WOYWW! ReplyDeleteThose stamps look fun :) Happy WOYWW!

Oh Zo, what stampy goodness you have on your desk. You must be a very disciplined person if you can do your writing work first, and play later! I would be having fun stamping and coloring first!!!

ReplyDeleteA lot of interesting things on your desk! I am just so amazed that you combine crafting and football! Love that! My DBF is a Westham fan, but at the moment they are not doing well so he keeps on moaning! Eh well that is sports for you - one day you loose, one day you win!
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs,
Cardarian
Sorry I am so late! the wek just went and I don't know where!
I've always wanted some Odd Girl stamps but I have so many stamps I am afraid I won't use others if I bought them.
