Good morning everybody!
Am a bit later than normal, but I've only just got up. I'm loving the Easter Holidays, no real routine to follow so me and my boy can just chill. Fab!
Right my desk -
Just as the title says - a little bit of this & that - there's my new journal which I'm creating Zentangles in along with the pens I'm using to do this, my Altered Book project (I'm not following any tutorial specifically, I'm just playing and seeing what happens, random, very much like me!) and my box, that I'm altering, is sat there drying off ready for the next bit..... whatever that may be as I don't know yet! Seeing it like this I realise I do like using blue!
OK, for once, I know.......... I can hardly believe it either, I'm being super brief (trying to earn brownie points off Julia!) so head over to Julia's (The Stamping Ground) to see what all of this desk showing off is about!
Take care and enjoy snooping!

Very clever book design. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI am just playing with ink and colour and techniques for my altered book as well...but love what you have done with the 'niche' for yours. I will do mine once I 've finished the rest of my book. Not really sure what i am going to do yet.
ReplyDeleteWould have loved to have seen Vincent's work in the flesh !! I think he has a very textured look to his work!
Thanks for dropping by. I'm going to do the second part of y journey round the blows later tonight.... lol

ReplyDeleteYou're a Gashead and it leaks into your crafting colours! I'm going to be the opposite tomorrow and look for red papers etc as I don't have any, and that's my fave colour! Altered book is looking fab, even at such an early stage - I clicked on the pic to make it bigger, and do I spy those Papermania dressform/typewriter papers you told me about inside the 'niche'?! Lovely x Not sure how I feel about the stack of torn-out pages beside...but I'm taking deep breaths and reminding myself it's a library-ok'd book/project! See you in the morning, Debs xxx

wow wow wow just love the way you've done the niche in your altered book. And that huge page of zentangles is amazing!! (Actually given me an idea of something I can take to do when I'm on jury service later this year - won't need much in the way of materials!!). Thanks for stopping by to see me - Happy Easter! Cindy #67 (PS just you don't love holidays and not having to get up for school!!)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that funny how sometimes you get a different view of your own stuff and get a sense of it you didn't notice before-like with your use of blues. You have lots of different projects going on to keep you out of trouble (or maybe in trouble) and I like what I see on all of them. Those zentangles sure are addicting.
