Quick & Simple

Happy Sunday! Well it's a beautiful sunny day here, though the breeze is a little chilly and is a reminder it's not summer yet!

Sometimes I love spending ages colouring, inking, stamping etc but there are times when I like to pull out a kit and just make a card, knowing it's all been thought out for me.  Well this card is one of those. I was lucky enough to win one of the wonderful Flower Patch collection kits from Dawn Bibby.  It's one of those kits that you can spend ages looking at as there is so much and it is so pretty. I kept getting it out and putting it away without making anything but the other day I got stuck in and made this card.



It was so easy to put together with all the elements working so well together. I love the dimension from using the flowers and butterflies.

I really must find a better way to photograph my cards - I've seen so many ideas while popping by your desks so I must put it into action for myself!

    Oww, you have been busy. This card is lovely, there is so much detail. Dawn's kits are good value, and this one looks exceptional, but there is skill in the vision and way you put it together.

    Gorgeous card, Zoe - love the colours and and all the details like the pretty shape of the card and the background of stamping and distressing. It's really chilly here and I noticed while we were out today that the motorway information sign is warning of snow expected ... shame, I was enjoying our early summer weather.
