Well it's time again to show you my desk, if you don't know why then pop over to Chez Julia's to find out.
Short & sweet (just like me!) this week, the desk -
Took this before the light went yesterday evening, I tend to set things up and leave them ready for the following day (also means they're ready if I can't sleep during the night!). You can see (right) Kanban toppers, (middle) sheets of digi stamps which are Krista's (Saturated Canary) wonderful artwork and then (left) tubs of Pro/Flexmarkers & Copics. Yes, I do store them in what was liquid washing tablet boxes! Smells nice when I open the lid. I often change my colouring medium, switching between my Spectrum Noirs to my Pro/Flexmarkers & Copics or even water colour pens/pencils. Depends on my mood you see.
A new addition to the button collection has emerged following another visit to the local Haberdashery -
Right that's me, I'm off to make a coffee and start my weekly snoop through the list. Thanks to everyone who pops by and a huge crafty hug to those that take the time to comment too. Take care Zo xx

love your pro marker storage
ReplyDeleteClever, clever marker storage. I can't color that many images at one time lol. I bet it's very efficient but I'd get so bored. I'm like a butterfly, I have to flit from one project to the next.
ReplyDeleteAngie #95
I'm totally giggling that every time we come to visit there is yet another new jar of buttons. Pretty soon you are going to corner the world market on buttons and we'll have to come beg you to spare us a button or two. I love the marker storage idea--different color families in different tubs. I've been pondering various marker storage since my Copics outgrew their basket.
ReplyDeleteYour button collection is coming along nicely! I use loads of orange buttons for some reason. Talking about the smell, I keep some of my stuff in the box that a Christmas wreath came in so its lovely and orangey and spicy. Happy WOYWW #45
ReplyDeletelove the way you displayed the buttons. hugs.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I never thought to set my desk up in case I couldn't sleep! I rather like that idea :) I keep my buttons in jars too, something about them makes me think of candy!

ReplyDeleteWow! You really are so organised! I don't usually know what I'm doing when I'm doing it, never mind the night before! lol!

Great button display! I wished I had more shelf space but too small a work room. Oh well. And your desk looks so organized. I don't have a brain to work with from 8 pm to 8 am. (And some may say the rest of the day, too!) Thanks for stopping by my blog! Carol #159
ReplyDeleteOMGee Wiz! I LOVE your wall hanging, and your canvas!!! SO fantastic!!!
ReplyDeletehave a wonderful week!
Thanks for stopping back and taking a peek at my desk...and then becoming a follower!!! I'm glad you came back to see what the "blob" on my desk was! I really love the planner that I made. It's already helping to keep me on track for blogging! You're right..you can never be organized enough!!!
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks like there was lots of fun going on!! I'm just starting to learn how to color. I've only used watercolor pencils so far, but I'm sure I will graduate to markers one day soon!

The Kanban toppers look great! I hope we will get to see the cards assembled and close-up!
ReplyDeleteLove your pen storage, looks very handy and stackable! And if they smell nice too, that is a nice bonus, lol!
Thanks for visiting me earlier!
xoxo Karen
Oh my...i thought at first your buttons was candy...color coordinated LOL! Now that would be something! Ha! Happy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteHi Zo
ReplyDeleteI also set my digi's up about 4 to a page - leaving enough margin around for my spellbinders die of my choice - I learnt the hard way tonnes of times before and put too many on the page and not had enough room to successfully die cut them afterwards... however, will be doing on my Cameo in future (well, gonna try anyway)...
Love where you have your promarkers - must admit I've used those boxes to store craft stash before - mine were blue lids (D/W tablets)... I currently bunch my promarkers up in colour family with a laggy band - usually in my drawer, but currently in one of my collapsable 'bit bins'...
Great desk
love Paula x x x x
Oh! I can tell that you are super organized! (Oh- how can I get some of that to rub off on me??)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me for WOYWW and for your sweet comments!
Nadia 171
You are more organised than me - I jump from project to project all the time. I must settle down and finish something
ReplyDeleteJanet (2pDesigns #155)
I love my Promarkers, especially as I now have enough of the fine nibs to put one on each pen, which gives me three nibs on each pen - pretty good value there. Thank you for your visit, and kind comments. I have now finished that particular zentangle, so I need to play with another. Have a good week. xx Maggie #59
ReplyDeletethat's a wonderful button collection and all so organized! happy WOYWW and thank you for sharing,

Hey you - bet you're colouring in as I type! If not, you have been, I bet! I'm terribly late looking this week - I blame you for Thursday tee hee! Now, I must take some you-inspiration and actually DO some crafting today...! Me xxx
ReplyDeleteNow if I set up my desk the night before, the cats would be into everything!! I have to clean up every time I create and make sure I always have the object I am working on well away from their sneaky paws!!!
ReplyDeleteSandy
I do that too, get the images all set up so I can just sit and play, but I leave mine in an A4 protective folder because the cats think they own my desk and push things off when they want more space.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Eliza #103
Isn't it nice to be able to set things up and just leave them until you can get back and know things will stay where you left them!
ReplyDeleteI recently found some bottles on sale and decided to sort my buttons. So easy to find the right one now and they are pretty to boot!
Thanks for sharing! :)
