Well as you see this I should be on my way to football!
Here's hoping the scheduling goes okay!
Right the new challenge is Celebrations, see Crafty Boots challenge blog for more details.
For my card I used the Christening image from the Popcorn Platinum CD ROM set which was printed on to the fab Crafty Boots card (pop over to the Crafty Boots shop!) The background is created using Core-dinations card, that I embossed using my Cuttlebug. I went for an Easel card design and because I used Roses that had some depth to them I also made an Envelobox to put the card in. I embellished both with similar ribbons & flowers etc. While I went with pink roses and card I think this image would look just as pretty if I used blue card and roses.
Look forward to seeing your creations for this challenge and of course all of the challenges that are to follow in 2012!
Hope you had a fab Christmas day and I hope you enjoy Boxing Day. I just hope my boys win today!
Take care Zo x

It's Christmas Eve!
Woo hoo!
As my 13 year old son will tell you I am the biggest kid in this house, I love Christmas. Though I do find it harder getting out and about this time of year as the shops go mad and I can't cope with the crowds but hey that's normal for me, I always have to have bodyguard with me when I go out. Lol.
So I wanted to just pop by as wish you all a Merry Christmas, and to say a big thank you for all of your comments and support this year, here in blog land. I am so pleased I started this blog earlier in the year, I never thought I'd have so many followers so quickly, though, of course, any new followers are always welcome (feel free to plug my blog!!!). The blog has become more craft orientated than I thought as I assumed I'd be boring you all with accounts of my footy adventures! But as things haven't gone as well on the pitch as hoped you're all safe....for now!
Anyway enjoy the festivities, I've scheduled a post for Monday for the new Crafty Boots challenge, as I probably won't get on here much for a few days.

Oh Dear!
Well as I blog, my boys, Bristol Rovers, are losing 4 -1 away to Gillingham :0(
I thought I'd share my Christmas card I've made for my lad, Keagan. I used image/papers from the Polka Doodles Magical Winter CD, which I love.
It's A4 height but not as wide. The text I created on my MCS. A few card candies here and there and it's done!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, and get plenty of crafting done.

My Trees!
Finally got round to putting the trees up, so I thought I'd share them with you.
One is purple, pink & lime green to co-ordinate with the plum tones of my living room
And the other is a small black tree covered with blue tinsel, blue and white baubles and topped by a rather sweet teddy bear wearing the Bristol Rovers quarters! This bear was given to Keagan, my son, to celebrate his birth. Maybe not traditional but it definitely suits our household. Lol.

Crafty Boots Christmas Challenge
Ho Ho Ho! Well it's nearly that time isn't it?
I hope you've all been good so that Santa brings those presents you want! I think I've been a good girl this year. Anyway, today sees the start of the next Crafty Boots Challenge. This time the theme for obvious reasons is Christmas. My DT card is another Kanban Wobbler - Rudy The Reindeer.
I just love these wobbling cards, they are so much fun and everyone who has seen them just wants one!
I hope you enjoyed our 'Anything Goes' challenge and the blog hop. It was lovely to have you pop by to see my card & I thank you for the lovely comments left.
Keep an eye out for the winners of the challenge & blog hop & individual blog candy too!

Been a busy girl!
You may have noticed that apart from my DT projects I haven't posted anything for a while (other than Paris!) so I thought I'd do a post and share a few things I've been making over the last few weeks.
Here goes;
The first is a wedding card my uncle asked me to make for him to give his Godson & wife. He didn't know any details (other than they all went paint balling for the stag do!) so I stuck with white. Good old Centura Pearl card & paper with added pearls, ribbons & flower.
The next is a Christmas card for my friend. Her husband asked me if I'd make it for her, we're both Rovers fans so it had to be blue & white! Ha ha. The image is from Debbi Moore as are the papers. I added velvet ribbon, pearls and flowers.
Ok next are personalised colouring books that I've made for my niece's and my friend's little lad. Like us all I'm on a tight budget for Christmas and am trying to make gifts where possible and decided to make these. I used Polka Doodles Pretty Sweet and Pretty Tuff cd's for the images along with other digital stamps I have on my computer. I created the covers using the pre-coloured images and added their names. The wallets are from Tesco's, a pack of 6 for about £1.25 I think, I just punched holes through the pages and filed them in. Each book has at least 10 pages of different images to colour. Simple but very effective. Colouring books aren't always cheap any more and you can't buy them with your name on, so hopefully they'll be perfect gifts.
Another gift! My friend loves Kingfishers so I printed onto tissue and set into this candle that I bought relatively cheaply. I've wrapped some ribbon around and hey presto another gift sorted!.
I set the image both sides so it doesn't matter where she puts it.
I've finished my Christmas cards and most are on their way to recipients or are ready to go this week. I'm not as far down the present list as I'd like but am getting there. Bookmarks and name plaques to go!
Hope you're all well and not stressing too much!
